Comme chaque année, le Concours Général Agricole se déroule au Salon de l’Agriculture, à Paris. Créé en 1870, le Concours Général Agricole a pour ambition de sélectionner et de primer les meilleurs produits du terroir français, issus de la production et de la transformation, ainsi que les meilleurs animaux reproducteurs. Cette année, plus de 3600 produits (produits laitiers et produits divers), quelques 15 000 vins et 2 000 bêtes s'affrontent au Concours Général.
Les produits récompensés reçoivent une médaille d’or, d’argent ou de bronze, selon leur classement ; un gage de reconnaissance de la qualité du produit.
Cette année Les Vignobles Dubourg ont particulièrement été récompensés avec 4 médailles, 3 d'or et 1 d'argent.
En appellation Saint Emilion l'intégralité de notre récolte 2009 a été médaillé avec:
- Médaille d'or: Château Maurins 2009 Saint Emilion.
- Médaille d'or: Château Dubourg 2009 Saint Emilion.
En appellation Bordeaux :
- Médaille d'or : Château Mathiot 2009 Bordeaux rouge.
- Médaille d'argent : Château Haut Pasquet 2010 Bordeaux blancs secs.
Medals at the Concours Agricole de Paris 2011
Like every year, the General Agricultural Competition takes
place at the Agricultural Fair in Paris. Founded in 1870, the General Agricultural Competition aims to select and
award the best traditional French products, from the production the processing, and also the best breeding stock. This year there were over 3600 products (dairy and other
products),some 15,000 wines and 2,000 farm animals competing at the General Competition.
Winning products receive a gold , silver or bronze medal, depending on their rank, a recognition for their quality.
The Vineyards Dubourg, this year, were particularly rewarded with 4 medals, 3 gold and 1 silver.
Appellation Saint Emilion our entire 2009 crop was medalist with:
- Gold Medal: 2009 Saint Emilion Chateau Maurins.
- Gold Medal: 2009 Saint Emilion Chateau Dubourg.
Appellation Bordeaux
- Gold Medal: Chateau Mathiot 2009 Bordeaux red.
- Silver Medal: Chateau Haut Pasquet 2010 Bordeaux dry whites
